June, 24, 2022 Munich Trade Fair |
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Dear members
the student council for materials engineering, glass & ceramics, of Koblenz University of Applied Sciences, from Höhr-Grenzhausen, with the support of DKG, is organizing the CareerDay of Ceramitec on Friday, June 24, 2022.
In cooperation with Messe München, the student representation of the WesterWaldCampus therefore cordially invites you to make contact with the engineers of tomorrow. In two different forums, both students and companies will have the opportunity to learn about the transition from study to professional life in the context of varied presentations and discussions.
- The event will start with a presentation of the ceramic degree programs at the Höhr-Grenzhausen site. The focus on this dual bachelor's degree program is likely to be of particular interest to companies in the ceramics sector. Well-trained specialists are difficult to find these days. Through the dual study program, companies have the opportunity to accompany prospective engineers from the very beginning and also to introduce their own focal points in the practical phases.
- In the second block, things get particularly interesting for students. Options after graduation will be presented in several lectures. Experienced graduates will talk about their careers, starting with their studies and the optional master's degree, through career entry to doctoral studies, thus making it easier for current students to make decisions.
- The third block will again focus on communication between companies and students. Here we would like to address the requirements and wishes that companies have for their future engineers. A subsequent question and answer session on the topic of career entry is also planned.
In addition, the companies will have the opportunity to introduce themselves to the young professionals in personal talks. The past has already shown that this opportunity is worthwhile for both sides. Often, agreements on final theses or employment contracts have already been made directly at the fair. We would be pleased to receive support from the companies and would like to thank them in advance.
Best regards
